ANNUAL PTC AUCTION
This is an annual event put on by the PTC. It includes an evening of live and silent auctions, and more. The event is usually held in late February/early March. We celebrate our Wolf Branch Community and raise money towards their continued dedication to our children’s academic success! Our funds help to fulfill the Teacher Grants requested which direct benefit the staff, students, and WB community. In 2024, PTC donated over $30,000 in grants back to the WB school community!
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
This is a fun family outing put on by the PTC. Wolf Branch holds an outdoor (weather permitting) family friendly movie night in late August. Last year's movie was Super Mario Bros. and there were concessions including drinks, popcorn and a variety of snacks to choose from. The entire event is run by parent volunteers. Prior to the event, parents are asked to sign up to donate concession items, help with setup/takedown or work concessions. This is an excellent opportunity to meet some of your child's new classmates and enjoy a nice evening out!
FALL FESTIVAL
This event is a great evening for both elementary and middle school families in October. Wolf Branch holds a carnival with rides, games and food outdoors (whenever possible) at Wolf Branch. Last year's event included Food Trucks where you could choose from some awesome selections of unique food. The entire event is run by parent volunteers. Prior to the event, parents can help by signing up to work a game or prize booth for 30 min. This is an excellent opportunity to meet some of your child's classmates and many Wolf Branch teachers also attend. Several Wolf Branch groups set up activities as well.
PUMPKIN DAY
Pumpkin Day takes place during a school day in October. Order forms are sent home and your child can order a pumpkin and then go out to the Wolf Branch Pumpkin Patch in front of the school and select their pumpkin at their designated class time. Cookies and juice are served to the children as well. The Pumpkin patch is set up by parent volunteers and parents can volunteer to come to help out during the event. This is always a great fall photo opportunity! (Elementary School Only Event)
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Breakfast with Santa is a fun holiday event for both elementary and middle school families usually held on the first Saturday in December. A breakfast is held at Wolf Branch with music, games, holiday crafts including cards for seniors, reading time with Mrs. Claus, and of course Santa! Last year's event was themed Pancakes and Pajamas, where many came adorned in festive PJs! We also collected donations for families in need. The entire event is run by parent and student volunteers. Prior to the event, parents volunteer to donate items for the event or sign-up to work a game, craft, food station or registration table. This is a fun opportunity to see some new and old friends, and many Wolf Branch teachers also attend. Several Wolf Branch groups set up activities as well.
SANTA'S KOTTAGE
This is an opportunity for your child to holiday shop all by themselves in Wolf Branch's own Santa's Kottage Store. An envelope is sent home for the child to list relatives he or she would like to shop for and they are then assisted by parent volunteers in choosing their special gifts. Gifts range in price from approximately $1.00 -$10.00. Parent volunteers also help wrap the gifts. This event takes place during school hours in early December.
CLASS PARTIES
PTC parents host two class parties throughout the school year. These parties take place in October and December. At registration, PTC collects class party fees of $10.00 from elementary students. These fees cover expenses for all two parties. Each classroom's headroom parent then organizes parent volunteers to host and run the parties. At the middle school PTC hosts a few treat days like bringing in food trucks i.e. desserts from The Sweet Side or Hot Mess Express.
FLOWER DAY
Every May on Flower Day, Wolf Branch students are asked to bring in a flower to plant in front of the school. Each class comes outside and with the help of parent volunteers, plants their flowers. The entrance of the elementary school blooms with color, and the children love digging in the dirt!
BIRTHDAY BOOKS
Each year the PTC orders books for the elementary school students. These books are displayed at the elementary school, and every child gets to pick out a book for their birthday! Such a fun way to celebrate our students birthdays' and continue to help them grow at the same time!
PAW PRIDE STORE
PTC also runs a store out of the elementary school called the Paw Pride Store. This is a donation based store. Each month elementary students have opportunities to earn Paw Pride tickets for good behavior and good character. At the end of the month the students bring in their Paw Pride tickets and are able to shop for books, snacks, teacher experiences, and various toys. The students LOVE going shopping at the Paw Pride store and look forward to it every month!
GRADE LEVEL SOCIALS
PTC enjoys hosting grade level socials at the beginning of each year. These socials are typically held at Swansea Kingdom on a Friday afternoon after school. This is an excellent opportunity to meet new parents and some of your child's new classmates.
